BBQ Dessert Ready!


This month’s recipe comes from our amazing photographer, Lauren!

This recipe has been a staple in her family at every function and it always a huge hit! It’s versatile and works in every season. She makes it as a sweet treat at summer BBQs, Thanksgiving and its even made it way to Harvest Ridge’s employee Christmas party!

It can be eaten cold or warm (Lauren enjoys it cold). Her mother passed this recipe down to her, we hope you enjoy it with your families as much as we do with ours!

6 slices of stale white bread
20 oz can of crushed pineapple
2 sticks of softened butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs

Cream butter and sugar with fork. Add eggs and stir until smooth. Add pineapple (not drained) and mix. Fold in cubed stale bread until well blended. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

 

We paired this recipe with our Gruvy, but it would be great with Pinot Gris or White Sangria!
