Jason Hopwood
As an East Coast native, Jason took “the plunge” into the world of wine initially as a culinary professional, working in both back and front of house restaurant operations, which included development of wine and beverage menus. Natural curiosity led to a job as a harvest intern in Sonoma, California, and eventually to the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in viticulture and enology. Jason believes wholeheartedly in the potential of the Mid-Atlantic region to produce high-quality grapes & wines. Besides making wine, Jason enjoys being part of a great team, which includes his spouse, Erin, and his two children.
