Visit A Local Winery– Wherever You Are!
In 2012, there were almost 9000 wineries in the United States– and that number is growing quickly! A trip to a local winery is a wonderful way to connect with a local business. Many wineries are small, family-owned operations that love to interact with visitors that come to see them, tour the property, and taste their wines. (This is most definitely true for us at Harvest Ridge!) Often times wineries are near enough to each other that a visit to a couple in a day is very doable. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it!
